Introduction of the project

 


About the Project:

“Pandemia leaves us but technology meets up.”  This expression is an inspiration for us. We awared that technology and internet are very important in our lives. Because of the pandemia which is called covid 19 all over the World , everything; going to cafes,cinemas,shopping malls ,meeting up friends , most importantly education stopped. However, thanks to technology especially the internet , we can try to come over this problems. People realized that technology is so important in distance learning. Thanks to web 2.0 tools by means of the technology ,students will learn their school subjects actively and in an enjoyable way. Therefore, we decided to show the technology's importance in distance learning that is the explanation of our project 's name called "TIIDeL".

Aims:

Aim of the project is to make easy the distance learning thanks to technology. Students will be able to learn their school subjects in an enjoyable way by means of using web 2.0 tools. Students will be able to use technology successfully. Students will be able to be aware of the internet’s useful sides. Students will be able to have more fun in lessons. Students will be able tos hare their knowledge with their teachers and friends at the same time. Students will be able to interact with each other. Students will be able to realize the importance of using technology to learn their school subjects.

Work processes:

Our Project will be in progress for two months. It will begin in March and end at the end of the April. Assesments will be done on weekly basis. Therefore ,Project will continue for eight weeks.

The first week; Students will register to the Project and students ‘ permission forms  are provided.

The second week; Students will introduce themselves via the “voki”. They can be able to use the padlet to interact with each other.

The third week; Students will design logos and make posters for the Project. And then, the best logo will be chosen. They can be able to use “canva “ while preparing the logos.

The fourth week; Students will learn their school subjects and other studies by means of the “wordwall” which is one of the web 2.0 tools.

The fifth week; Students will learn their school subjects and other studies by means of the “learningapps” which is one of the web 2.0 tools.

The sixth week; Students will learn their school subjects and other studies by means of the “liveworksheets” which is one of the web 2.0 tools.

The seventh week; Students will learn their school subjects and other studies by means of the “kahoot” which is one of the web 2.0 tools.

The eighth week; Using technology in distance learning will be evaluated by students via Google forms which is prepared by the project partners.

Expected results:

Students will use the technology actively in their school subjects and studies.

Students will be able tos hare their knowledge and interact both each other and their teachers.

Students will be able to combine technology and lessons.

Students will be able to realize the importance of technology especially the web 2.0 tools in distance learning.

Not only the students but also the teachers will share all the activities on twinspace.
